This kind of "art" scares me. Absolutely horrid. Oh wait it is Halloween!

I think this is just what my portfolio needs to counter the stockmarket and my real estate holding. A wise investment !

...speaking of Cascade art...
Has anyone noticed how awesome the giant vintage photographs are in the Heather Meadows Base Lodge at Mt Baker?
Any idea where I could acquire a replica (of equal size) to these?

UW has a great collection of historic photography (including a lot of great pictures of the cascades)....you might wanna seach on their site:

content.lib.washington.edu/cgi-bin/advsearch.exe

and it is possible to order reproductions of the prints in their collection.

I am mortified to have to report this, but I've just been made aware that Jonas Kascade just might be a fake! Either that or someone called "Thomas Kincade - Painter of Light" is rudely imitating the Kascade style.

Compare these two websites:

www.thomaskinkade.com/magi/servlet/com.a...e.web.tk.HomeServlet

www.jonaskaskade.com/index.html

I'm just not sure, but I'm thinking of asking Kascade for a refund on the Loon Point Light Limited Edition series of 150,000 "Deluxe Fine Art Print with little actual paint daubs added",  that I ordered for $1500.
