MY guess is Lowell would if asked. We asked him to come and give a presentation of his choice. It's always good and informative.

The Skagit Alpine Club also asked me to do a show this winter and I accepted. The date is February 6, 2008 in Mount Vernon (I think) but I don't have more details at this time.

I did a bunch of presentations about five years ago related to my ski history project. For several years after that, I declined requests to do programs because I wanted to focus on my project and because I had taken the program apart. But I've gotten used to the fact that my ski history book is going to take a long time, and the Cascade Crest journey is "news," so I'm open to doing more presentations.

A couple months ago the Wilderness Society asked me to do a 15-20 minute show about skiing the Cascade Crest at their annual meeting. That's what I'll be showing at the Tacoma and Skagit valley events. To fill out the evening I'll show clips from my historic movie collection . For those who followed the recent thread about Marion Hessey's passing, I expect to show a clip from Skiing Cascade Wilderness , as well as other films.

The Cascade Crest show opens with a "virtual-reality" fly-over of the crest from Mt Baker to Mt Rainier, using Google Earth. Larry_R deserves credit for importing my TOPO! routes into Google Earth to create this effect. Thanks Larry!

As someone who was able to see this presentation in September at the Wilderness Society meeting, I highly recommend it to all who are able to attend.  Lowell's accomplishment is inspiration for us all, and a great reminder of the special backyard we get to call home.

Thanks for taking the time to do these presentations Lowell, I know it takes a lot of time and energy.
