Liberty Cap -> Liberty Ridge -> Carbon Glacier -> Suspension Bridge = 11.1k ft. The valley is pretty flattish thereafter, but that whole descent is mostly one beautiful fall line and some of the funnest skiing I've ever had anywhere, particularly from Thumb Rock through the upper Carbon.

These kind of discussions seem like they'd benefit from certain qualifiers, e.g. "longest fall line averaging over 30 degrees" or something like that.

Lowell and I may have to agree to disagree about "most elegant." I would call the FF to the Nisqually Bridge the best, biggest moderate. The Finger is quite lovely - I'd like to ski it to the bridge one of these days myself; I've only had the pleasure to Paradise. I'm still amused by Lou Dawson's quote from Wildsnow in which he calls the Finger "Mount Rainier's steepest digit," which is immediately proven inaccurate by the Thumb.

I've been meaning to look into the best possibilities for big ones off Mont Blanc; toward Chamonix from the top one could ski over 12.5k ft.

I find myself continually disappointed by the neverending hype pervasive in marketing materials; this Red Bull thing is just one more example.

I'm surprised this is still in Trip Reports. Add to that the two semicolons in the preceding paragraphs as a markharf memorial.
