This is all very sad.
Here is the link to the NWAC preliminary report put together by Crystal Ski Patrol and Marc Moore. You can study other mishap reports there too.

It is important to keep studying this stuff so we dont get caught in the same traps. Just one avi class is not enough.

Yes, thanks for the link Alisa.
It is so scary to look at those pictures and see what otherwise is an enticing line. So easy to "just drop in."
That said I'm fairly certain that most, myself included, would have read and heeded the "high" warning on the NWAC site and stayed away.
Nevertheless, what always spooks me when I see photos in accident reports is how "normal" everything appears...
