I guess you are not interested in buying mine....This seems to be the best design I have found so far. www.bndskigear.com/index_files/Page1362.html I was hoping for more input on some great ski crampons from small companys but they must not exist. Maybe everyone is satisfied with the current offerings?? The above link goes to a crampon that is useable with Dynafit AT bindings and Tele bindings without under-foot routing (there may be exceptions). It seems superior to others because it is offered in different sizes (including wide), it is ski mounted, it retracts when foot elevates, or can be constantly engaged. I may buy a pair for tele's, but am still looking for a better solution to the Fritschi.

Toby, that link didn't work on my computer. Try this link to get to the parent directory:

bndskigear.com/index_files/

Then go to Product Details and you will see the Ski Crampon link

They look like a good option for Dynafit bindings. I like that it can be engaged into the snow all the time unlike the crampons for Fritishis.

The B&D folks have also fabricated some similar crampons for split-boards if anybody out there is interested in them, I believe they have a few different specs and shapes available.

BTW - the fixed Sk'Alp crampon can be bought from Telemark-Pyrenees. The problem is it only fits waists up to ~72mm. It could probably be stretched to fit on an 80mm waist but probably not more.

I actually called Sk'Alp in Grenoble a month ago and asked, and they said that they couldn't be made to work on my Trab Freerando (78 mm waist).

drC
