Hmm... this pattern looks very familiar - Warm temps and heavy precip, followed by cold front with only a little precip.

I doubt any of us will start walking poodles or playing croquet....but a few more of ya might go out and buy surfboards to get you through the late summer.<br><br>I was just reading an article that mentioned Mt.Baker's earliest opening date...the lifts started running on October 10th back in 1968....damn. <br><br>Hopefully it won't be long now before we start to get some accumulation up high.

<br><br>Wow! I had no idea they had ever opened that early! However, I have a memory of skiing Baker in early Nov one year. I think it was Nov 2, in maybe '94 (?).
