<br><br>That sounds about right. We saw the Seattle showing of the Warren Miller movie that year (from memory?: "Black Diamond Rush?"). Warren Miller was there and made a crack about our early season opening. Baker opened mid-week in October. We couldn't make it until the weekend, which by then it was already November. Probably the same as you.<br><br><br>Wow! I had no idea they had ever opened that early! However, I have a memory of skiing Baker in early Nov one year. I think it was Nov 2, in maybe '94 (?). Can anyone back me up on this?

IT'S REALLY HERE! SEE TR FOR OCTOBER 3 MUIR
Skied anywhere from 2-8" of light, fluffy, POWDER!!!! While crevasses still had to be avoided, it was an amazing ski.<br>~L

St. Helens got 2 inches of precip this wknd, with temps in the upper 30s at 4000ft:<br>

Mt Daniel on Saturday, Snow started falling at 5k.<br>4-5 inches at 7k.
