It appears that a few lucky skiers have jumped the gun riding lifts TODAY... See this time-stamped shot from the base webcam.  It updates often so the update 2min later shows empty!

This southern resort skier may show up in lot 4, possibly with ddk, to find a pass buddy in-trade for beer.  Please advise beer preference!

Probably patrol - we were surprised to hear blasting yesterday between 1 and 2 coming over the Snow Lake divide and lifts were running when we got to the car. Thought they might have been working on the super rad jumps and stuff too.

early loaders were park crew, lift ops and safety staff, we waited till 9.
yeah, Alpental's 2nd annual hit the pipe then smoke the park month is in sessions.


guest appreciation day was all time tits up steeped in goodness mtn riding
thanks to the managers of the country club for opening up the front nine.
right side of Nash thru Adrenaline to Snake Dance was as good as it gets!

so much interest in a party at the ski hill that upset guests were turned away at 9:30 and told to improvise if they wanted to park and ski, fkna.
unreal crowd today.

southern resort and high2 ski areas can go suck a bag of dicks

Yhuuge thanks to Alpental snow safety personnel for allowing us to
plunder a rather mediocre backcountry area for a majority of the day!

it made things manageable to ski away from known chaos to unknown
