17/18 Padded Seats

Attrition was high after this morning's schmoo got chopped,
Upper mtn rode alright, even if it was a bowl side-only delight.
Precip intensified at half past noon, even those in rubber departed soon
Fingers crossed for a better tomorrow...

after the first few laps it was like getting outside the wake on a choppy day

took a few hours but lower I got 'groomed'.

It was quite nice this afternoon on any line that was getting skier love (or that had been machine massaged). So nice of the rain (snow up top) to hold off until the last run (other than one round of mid-afternoon showers), and to not really get going in earnest until we were driving away.

Thanks to the early birds for grooming the steeps for us!

after the Saturday douching it was nice to have a dry Sunday
no bibles were thumped but there was much to be thankful 4

Kristin Drew was reporting from Alpental yesterday
she only got as far as the footbridge for shooting viddy
Mgmt shoulda took a camera and done a lil leg work
