Aaaahhhh….what a Sunday…since I’m apparently a shill for Marketing…gonna have to step up the reporting.
Short version for the folks up north, it snowed all day and it got better.
The wordy report – light crowd all day, new snow, big winds early (made new snow better below the ridge tops), lots of wind blown icy spots in the usual slopes exposed to SE winds, very foggy up high in the Valley early, NW facing slopes best, snowing hard all morning which got some of my Hamster lines in shape and improving all day. Thought it would be a tough day but…life always gets better (with my attitude..normally). Had a nice few rides and runs with Steve (?) late morning, didtnt follow the Fireman when I was offered out towards E (probably should have), heard big things about EH from others about yesterday (plus BB report), heard a great joke for BINX while I was in CB Lodge having another bowl of Marketing Chicken Noodle (dang!). Left CB lodge and found that the vis had gone through the roof – made PB/BP’s even better (skier right of PB and skier left of BP), multiple GV/Memorial runs were the Hamster run of the day (many repeats, plus skier right side of MIFB), did a E run late morning chasing BINX and gang....and also for my end run…very nice with the great afternoon vis!
Other – As noted CB lodge had Chicken Noodle (bottom of the bag), lots of folks in the lodges, Pay lot massive this morning with lots of space for buses – 1 ½ when I left and the pay lot was not full. B, C, D and E all full. Never really saw a lift line today – whats with that on a Sunday? Great day, great day for the Coombas!, great day for my spare brain. Should be a great day for #1 tomorrow and the week day crowd. I really did not want to quit when I did…but gotta save a few turns for tomorrow.

It was good taking a couple runs with you, your stoke level was high and it got me motivated for the day. Not quite deep enough to really let em run. Far right of hamburger was good, powder bowl right was better, Silver basin right of box cars was deep.

Right Angle scratchy and sluffy on the steeps.
O's Meadows... Nice and deep.
South Face Throne into A basin has been wind-buffed to as smooth as a billiard table...terrific turns.
Other noteworthy events.
After 6 years on the waiting list CM called me today to say my name had come up for a parking pass.
Today was the also the last day for my beloved DPS Bananas, after 5 years of sterling service they were retired today. There were tears in my eyes during our last run together.
Should be an excellent day for our retirees tomorrow.
Cadged a lift today so no traffic report as I was asleep in the back before we left the resort.

Thanks..feel highly privileged to join the exclusive A lot club after so long a wait but I will miss my BC buds up in Upper lot C. Much shorter distance for Mrs Scotsman to travel after her two pints of Elk Frost.

What's the going rate these days? My name came up about 10 years ago, but couldn't fit the 475$ into the budget.
From the looks of the usually empty pay lot, they could sell a lot more, or, move up the poor people about 6 rows.
