AlpentAl was created by flowing alpy
50/50 day
mammoth snow carving maching cut large chunks of fecal encrusted snow from the snow banks and threw it all over the cattrack at the entrance to lot4. ski school kids got one more obstacle to train them for Alpental.

And yet no line on Armstrong at around 3 when we drove by

Didn't encounter many lift skiers on the "backcountry" drain just before that

Rode right on 2 most of the day. Things are getting pretty reef-y inside of the ropes, but the goods still linger for those who go plaid

PSA: be on the lookout for fallen trees, esp. down low when traversing back to lot 4

Today didn't disappoint, either. Leisurely 1pm start after sleeping-in and watching the first half of the Hawks game left enough time for a trio of back bowl laps and twice that on the groomers down low before the 5 o'clock closing bell.

No line for the padded seats all afternoon, perhaps the fog to the top of the Fan was keeping everyone away? Nash side rode great and if you took the right line to the bottom, visibility was a non-issue.
