Still pretty grim and dim at 5:40, several of the rvs in b-Lot bailed due to lack of power. While self contained and equipped with propane furnaces the rvs still require 12 volt batteries to function. The motorhomes can fire up and burn gas or diesel to charge the batts back up or run built in generators. Its a little tougher for the trailer guys. Loaders have run all afternoon reclearing the lots after todays snow. I have only seen one PSE truck and mini snocat come up. Assume the outage is below b-Lot. Gold hills was the run of the day for those into boot pack serviced skiing, fairly well tracked out. I'll look outside at 10pm and see if the lights are on. No soup today. Had street tacos with marinated organic steak strips with cilantro and fresh avocado thanks to my well prepared wife.

Chair 6 was already fixed yesterday, according to my lift-ops connection...

Not sure where the main power line runs. I can say that the bar in Greenwater had no power around 1:00pm when we stopped by for a beer on our way back to the city. Anyway, if it's the same line the power may be out much further toward the city or there may be multiple faults in the line.

PSE has a backup power station for Crystal Resort, the clubs and Gold Hills cabins. This is located climbers right on the blvd on the last grade affectionately know as Generator Hill. During most PSE grid failures this station automatically comes on line and powers up the resort. The chairs have redundant diesel system to allow them to operate independently. Today was the perfect power supply storm. At 6:30 it is puking pow by candle light

Someone needs to take credit for the giant snowman phallus in the middle of 410 at the turn-off (or turn on?).
Standing straight and proud at 1:45 PM. All traffic respectfully avoiding.
I suspect the State Patrol relocated for safekeeping.
Unfortunately, no photos.
