It got a lot better at Alpy as it warmed up - by noon it was skiing like decent spring snow and there were probably only 40 people on the mountain.

I'm getting a deferal for my pass and the family, this is the only consolation for busting myself up. Since we invested over $1k on passes this seems logical. When I'm fixed we'll do day passes at Crystal since kids <10 are free there so its cheaper to ski with a family at Crystal that Snoqualmie for a daily trip if you can fathom that thought.

In the interest of science...

...since science is my schtick, i'll offer up my analysis of this report...

1       = sucks
10     = epic

run 1  = 1
run 2  = 1
run 3  = 1

n        = 3
mean  = 1
S.D.    = 0

so i'd say that since you tried to remove variation from your collection process, then the data indicates that conditions indeed did suck...

Is the scale from suck to epic natural numbers only? And why start at 1 instead of 0? A scale of 0-9 requires no tens place. We could represent them with a single character instead of a short, int or string - think of the space we'd save with these reports!

Okay, okay. I'll get back to mining the bits... fortunately every eight I produce generates another byte to feed myself with.
