Elevator yes Nash gate no. Talked to patrol, said it wasn't cornice, just generally high avy danger, thought maybe by saturday it might have settled enough. Also he said moisture content was 1% for 3 days.

I wouldn’t expect to see any of the BC open given the current avalanche forecast for the weekend.

Didn't check NWAC, not a favourable avalanche forecast for certain. Extreme above 4-5 and High below. SC will be closed for sure. Oh well.....

Does anyone want to go to Alpy tomorrow with hopes for the gate to open? I'm hoping to find a partner just in case.
