Great day!  Timed the open of REX quite well, got first tracks all the way through Door #2 and back to lift, best in-bounds resort run I think I've ever had at Crystal.  Missed 6 open, but the run through REX was quite nice, and much longer....

Yes they opened 6 and I skied it with my" floppy sticks" like a samurai sword cutting though butta!
Was first chair in the morning which meant nothing as REX wasn't open .
Snow sucked donkey balls and was funnish but not great.
Sorry we lost you but your friend was too slow for the ensuing "powder"( not) frenzy.
I thought line etiquette today was not bad considering the pent up demand. At least there was no fistfights..... maybe tomorrow though.

I've never had untouched down REX to the extent that I experienced yesterday.  There was absolutely no one around me the entire descent.  It was like a Yellow Stone Club experience...

At the bottom of Green Valley, the savages were pounding their fists for a singles line. Yelling and screaming ensued until such gates were constructed. Be careful what you (wish )yell and scream for, especially that old Swedish guy with the red face.

The line was pretty much full of 4 people filling a 4 seat quad. So, as I see Keith Hensen in the singles line, I have to stop the regular line and let in four singles. The savages become unruly. But, that is what they asked for, a singles line.

Props to Keith, for keeping his cool under many hellfire missles shot his way. But, that is how we do it. Give priority treatment to the TAY'ers.

Keep skiing, keep laughing and when the weekend guys start yelling, stop the line and let the TAY'ers through to get the fresh.

Makes my day.

Just for the TAY'ers info. You guys get the same priority as the Ski Patrol and Mr and Mrs Kircher.
