I was at Crystal yesterday and it was pretty marginal skiing though the weather was great and I ran into lots of folks I knew so it was an ok day. I left at 2 PM just when the sun really started beating down and found some corn--in the parking lot.

Groomers were littered with death cookies, never got soft, and a couple of times I was going so fast I was scaring myself.

Hey Chris, I told Keith Rollins about your email responding to his "like surfing on butter" comment on the Crystal conditions update and he got a huge laugh.

Sounds more like you guys were at Cannon Mt, NH than Crystal.

Love the Cannon reference...grew up in Franconia, NH skiing at Cannon! Gotta love the north-facing wind blasted state-owned greatest mountain on the east coast!

Snoqualmie was the same - ice, ice, ice!!! I just pretended that I was skiing frozen corn/death cookies off the top of Adams and that a large jet was flying right behind me.

What a night.
