Well, she did do something about the Chinook singles line which was performing brilliantly yesterday. I say it's a good thing to maybe have someone from Xtal reading TAY and actually listening to their customers. It's a step in the right direction and I personally don't care whether she comes out of the closet or not as long as we're being heard. Don't run her off! Better than no open ears at all!
Happy to welcome her with open arms...
If she represents the area's marketing however and is posting on any forum, she should be up front about it, otherwise it's a form of miss representation.
If she is listening to what people are saying here, and other places and effecting change that makes her product better, that's good for all of us.

Many of us have tried to contact you about a number of issues and have never heard back from you or anyone else so don't be too quick to leap at us. I think it is we, as customers, who may have 'a right to be defensive'. You, as the public face of CM and someone who came to this forum for whatever reason we don't know (interloper? espionage? ski enthusiast?), should probably not be telling your employer's customers to 'lighten up' and lay off the 'negative crap'. Does anyone anymore remember the old saw, 'the customer is always right'? I sure do and treat my customers that way every day.
That said, I think we all appreciate the gesture of you listening and making adjustments to the lift line ops. Please try to remember that the people on this forum likely represent a large number of CM customers, the difference being that most of them don't have the inclination to make their concerns heard or discuss them in a forum such as this and we do.
Were I a director of marketing (and I guess I am in my own world) I would consider the fact that I had a little support here an opportunity to serve both my employer and my employer's paying customers not to mention myself. You can improve our experience at your hill, and your employers ability to create satisfied customers (which is something we've been wondering whether they care about) but you just might have to hear some 'negative crap' to do so.
It's up to you how to play this, but be assured there are some very smart people here (not me) who are well qualified to read between the lines and know exactly what you're talking about, and extrapolate the consequences of whatever attitude you happen to be displaying in the forums. We can help each other if you choose to see that opportunity, and I suspect that's how the membership would prefer things to happen.
If you can stand the heat, you're welcome to hang out in the kitchen and we'd love to have you! It may not always be truffles and foie gras, however. Of course, it rarely is.
Yep, someone "sniffed me out" but you know what...that's just fine. I have a right to be defensive and trust me it's easy to put up a wall when all you hear about is the negative crap. I think people in general need to lighten up and learn how to give constructive feedback that people like me are actually willing to listen to rather than slamming you down for something you're not doing right. Like the saying goes...you get more bees with honey.
That aside...get ready for another great powder week!

So is this statement from the Director of Marketing at CM or from Tiana the skier?...
Better watch out or you may become known as Oft-pissed!

Well, that is my name after all!
Sorry, I didn't mean to sound 'piste' 'cuz I wasn't at all, just trying to tell her she shouldn't be 'piste' at us for speaking frankly, and inviting her to do the same. Hey, we all had a good chat about liftlines, and saw a result because of snowgirls'presence here. That was a good thing, right? Defensiveness ain't gonna get no one nowhere!
