We were up today too it turned nice in the afternoon sun and people left. They were bombing south late. Agree with the conclusions above but access is much easier. Saw few tracks in morning glory. Mountain emptied at 2.

Sad day...glad I finally got to enjoy it in prime conditions last year. Such is progress, to a ski resort, apparently...

I'll always ski Crystal, no matter how much they screw it up. The mountain and terrain more than make up for the poor decisions by the managment. After yesterday - I am really glad I got an AT setup this year.
Besides putting a lift in Northback, my three other big question I have for Mr. Kircher are:
1. Why does it take you 3+ days to get South Back open after is snows? Note how 24 inches of untouched pow are currently being rained on. (More ski patrol cost a lot less than a new chair).
2. Why no terrain park? (concentrate park rats in one place)
3. Why a tram?

Yeah, it was weird to see so many tracks back there. Sad. I think if they actually run the northway chair midweek it could be money. I think that also, judging from the skill level of many of those venturing there (I'm a gaper so no ego shit here) it was an eye-opener for some.
Northway was on wind hold today along with 6. Then it started to rain sideways. The skiing was good this morning. Plenty of un-hammered Saturday snow. Everyone was at northway yesterday and left it for us this morning. Thank you!
