mission ridge...the only lifts running?

i knew it wasn't the best place before i went. it was just the fact that it was the only lift served in the entire state. but rest assured, i will never go back there. the drive is just way to far, and obviously there are much better places around.

OK. I can't be sarcastic in this thread anymore.

Mission is a terrific ski area when it has snow. Possibly the best lift-served snow in the state, and some of the driest and coldest conditions. Inbounds sidecountry accessed by short hikes is awesome. Few lift lines, cheap prices, nice people, typically good weather.

Totally worth the drive if the conditions are decent, and a great, cheap weekend getaway with amazing package deals at Wesnatchee motels.

That said, avoid it at all costs.

oftpiste, put down the bong. I live in Wenatchee and can assure you that the skiing in no good, lift lines are horrible and accomodations in town are shody and overpriced. Enjoy your stay.
