Friday - I would call it a "Utah" day at Crystal.



I was supposed to go up on the party bus on Thursday, but we got cancelled because of the road ice.  Friday... I was torn, go to Crystal for my fix or stay and do my work?  Even as I awoke this morning I wasn't sure.  But I wrapped up some work items, did my must do errands and headed up.  Got to Crystal about noon.  Roads were clear.  Lower lot was half full.

Because it was such a nice day and I was skiing alone, I decided to relax and take some video:

It was a epic day in the South but its too bad that Kircher got him and his buddies up the chair at 8:30 to go track out the Southback and its true a part of the crew was Ingrid Backstrom and some of her friend doing some filming

OK, I may catch hell for this, but.....

Can anyone here honestly say that if they owned or were substantially repsonsible for the operation of a major ski area that they wouldn't grab first tracks once in a while?

LOL!! Are you kidding? Of course most people would.

There are no friends on a powder day. Remember?

Y'all need to find out when Kircher plans to make first tracks again.... get about fifteen bc skiers to beat him to the top and then lay some parallel tracks down the fresh pow.....   well, you can fantasize about it.

I don't begrudge the owner and his friends, wish him the best.
