Hey, we were up there, the two guys that headed down first, we were leary of the chutes skiers left, glad to hear they went well, next time!!!

author=Keith_Henson link=topic=17088.msg71937#msg71937 date=1278367207]Real nice meeting you in the parking lot. Turned out to be a great day in the mountains. I was great to meet you folks too - look...
We were across the highway and paid attention to what was going on around us - set off on purpose a couple of sluffs - but overall a wonderful weekend.
Nice - We thought about doing the same trip this year but haven't organized - perfect days eh?
Thanks for the tip - we were looking at it all day and did a cut at the top but I could see that most avoided it. We watched the far side of the valley all day and will come back for those long...
Nice - we were the car next to you in the parking lot and had done Castle Shoulder - Foss Peak, admired your line on Plummer when we saw it, will have to try for it next time!
We were the group that was up there as well, we did ski the NW face of Foss and it was fine, we did a cut and nothing happened, down below the pow pow was fantastic!
We were thinking of heading out that way in a couple of weeks - what did the north sides look like?
As a newbie - congrats on the Centurion
Nice pics - never done that tour, looks like you're booting up the last part?
We were over at Mazama Ridge - similar snow results, though when we did a shovel shear test, Q23, the break was below a wet crust. Had thought about Crystal.
Thanks for the report, was going to head up there Sat in anticipation of good stuff but the rest of our crew wants to try around Rainier
Will do - some folks we knew went up to 8k but said visability was bad, staying lower was good - also heard from some snowshoers that there was some problems at Pan Point.
