What is "good sized"? 18, 24, 36" diameter? Can help on Sunday and have a saw if there is a crew going in then, booked on Saturday.
Pictures of suffering also appreciated. That aspect to the southeast skied quite nicely.

That was rad! Thanks for posting that up.
Saturday evening we observed an individual return to the parking lot with a bloody face, tech ski boots, and no skis. His partner had skis. Probably belongs to the former.(Think the rescue was for a...
So the campground is not accessible yet. There is a snow drift that was passable with a lifted rig or Isuzu trooper. Take a chain saw with extra fuel to clear a few trees blocking the actu...

Nice. Yeah, you would have saved some miles going up the 80. Was up there on 4/3. The forest service is ill-equipped and under funded/staffed to deal with sleds on Adams in the Wilde...
Nice! Thanks for the TR.
Ha ha... Busted....Timing and the right conditions are everything for this zone though.
Nice. Always think about skiing that burn, but newton is that much closer.
Nice work and thanks for the report!

Adams has been in since November.
Purty!
Yes you can ski from your rig. There are a few thin spots though. Yeah, skied off the top enough to know it is not anything special most of the time if the chutes are the goal. I had...
Awesome on many levels!
Top of the mountain got frosted with fresh this past wed.
Killin' me here, nice work.

How far did you have to hike to skin-able snow?
Glad you made it out Ron, close one.

Fluffy, pretty much rode the very hard crusty bedlayer. Temp break seemed to be at the Columbia, picked up ~9" @1800ft north of Hood River. Skied around ~4-5k, south facing aspect. No...
Just curious, were you bottoming out on a crust layer on the turns? Toured on Adams yesterday,8+ inches of pow over a very hard crust, which I hit on every turn. Not ideal.
cool, nice tunes
