Mack et. al- great seeing you at the top of Dege! Chutes were in excellent shape; snow seemed smoother and less sun-cupped compared to recent years in early July! https://picasaweb.google.com/chriscas...

We crossed paths with you on your way down (we turned-around well below treeline as planned, partly due to time constraints, but also to avoid open slopes higher up). Stability in the open areas seeme...

Heya Brian- Great day on the Russell indeed! Possibly the best corn I've skied this year! I think we saw you on our descent (were you in the group of 3 snowboarders heading down just...
:)
No crowd at the hut. Had the place to ourselves for most of the evening, then were joined by a small group of friendly Whistler locals who toured to the hut by headlamp that night.
Scotsman, Snowbell, Amar: great seeing you yesterday enroute on the snowfield. The snow was initially hard and icy while hiking up to Pebble Creek, but softened up wonderfully for the skinning t...

Well done sir 8)
Still skiable today (July 11th), but just barely. The chute entrance is now melted out (short "portage" on volcanic rubble to narrowly continuous snow in the upper chute). Lots o...
Nice photos! Cory and I endured the bushwhack up Pilchuck yesterday (the 17th), but the ski-to-effort ratio was pretty low. We didn't ski gunsight as we couldn't really see it or much...

Nice work! That steep "trail" approach certainly makes the turns well-earned (especially when carrying overnight gear up there!). Bummer the weather/visibility wasn't better...
Yikes! Great work all! Nice write-up on the TR Lisa.

Nice work! That face looks incredibly steep from Mt. Hardy (Guess that was your headlamp we saw up high on Greybeard early Saturday morning, as we made our way up the lower slopes of Mt. Hardy).

Great pics as always! Glad to see you made it out there, and were able to get fairly far up the road given the lowland snow!
Way to get after it! We found similar conditions nearby on Big Chief Mtn ("backside" of the ski area). Still fairly boney below ~5,000-ft, but good turns up high. Great to ski sunny aspec...
Way to get the early November pow! It was a bit painful working out in Skagit County today while looking at the sun-lit fresh snow coating on Baker and the lower foothills that I couldn't ski!
