Three Sisters Traverse

Tyler and I did the Three Sisters Traverse in Central Oregon last week. Big props to Austin, who shuttled us and met us on South Sister.
One could drive to the Pole Creek TH with high clearance, but continuous snow for skinning began immediately! Did not bother with the summit of North. Otherwise, nothing really to note with conditions, all very straightforward. The top thousand feet of Middle and South was pretty rimey, as expected. We stayed west of Devil's Hill on the last descent to try to get to the road without transitioning, and it seemed to work pretty well. The last 6 mile uphill skin was pretty soul sucking, but hey, at least cell service is good.
It totaled to 25 miles and 10,500 ft of gain for us, taking 13 hours car to car. This was a super fun change of pace and really got us excited for more spring skiing. What a classic!

Nice area.
Nice nice. Out of curiosity, what time did y'all get started in the morning?
@galenweld we started around 6:30 am I think? Just as it was getting light. We needed headlamps on neither end of the day.
