I’m no Teanaway expert on snowpack, so before attempting a trip, I went up on a high ridge yesterday above Culver Springs and took some photo’s from about 4400’. Though I’m sure there are going to be areas of great skiing in the range, for me, I’m going to the North Cascades...

Iron or Miller? This is mostly the East Face

FYI - was still decent last week but not much longer

We were up in Bean Basin yesterday and had fun - still plenty of snow, but the trail is melting fast so we booted a ways. East faces were smoother. Earl was looking boney.

Living on the eastside of the mountains, and skiing around 97 all season, I could tell that the lower elevation snowpack would go real fast. Glad there was enough for a little while. The North Cascades has been great!
