First time to Silver, figured others may value a quick conditions report. Nearly continuous snow from the first switchback in the clearcut with decent refreeze despite being into June already. Plenty of snow up high but the approach may get patchy after this coming rainy stretch so get it before the weekend if you can.

Expected the road to be rough, but the switchback before the PCT was very washed out for a section. Plenty of AWD/4x4 made it through but we were glad to have taken the truck over the subi. Sounds like this may be par for the course on 9070, but heads up if you have the option for higher clearance.

Still good out there. I made it up with my Accord no problem although care is needed on the washed out corner. It won't be as good soon. Backside still goes and is worth it. See you all up there.

Strong work kamtron, the crux of the day for sure!

Definitely the car section is the crux!!!
