Seekseekqua South Face
Had a lovely day on the local peak, Seekseekqua (Mt. Jefferson). Skied in from the Bingham Ridge Road to respect the Lionshead Fire forest closures.
Looks like the fire crept into the Pamelia Creek drainage but didn't burn around the lake or trail. The pinnacle is in good condition. There's a 5ft rime bulge at the top that has set up the same each of the last three winters. I skied a funky line on the South face and toured out under the full moon. Like all good days, this one ended at the 7-11 in Mill City.

Rad! the view south towards Bend looks amazing. How was the snow? Super wind affected and icy in the Broken Top bowl this week, but looks pretty good in your photos.
Nice pow below treeline and icy windblasted above. Fortunately no "coral reef rime" this time.
