Kyle 1.0 and Kyle 2.0 (me) did the Rock Howard Mastiff Traverse on Saturday. There is continuous snow on both ends, probably for a bit while longer, but there were sections on the Rock climb that were pretty thin. Ski crampons were a must for the refrozen south facing climb. Travel in the alpine was all straightforward. I feel like we skied every type of snow BUT real corn (proto-corn just isn't the same). The highlight of the day was definitely the beautiful descent off Mastiff with sweeping views of Lake Wenatchee and the Central Cascades.

We really liked this traverse. It is not the biggest or wildest, but felt like a great primer for spring ski traverses.
