4" fresh overnight compacted to 2" heavy by midday. Several skinners enjoyed the exercise, cooling temps, and clearing skies.

We skied from Pineapple and 3 runs back toward Piss pass and down by Trashcan in boot Top shaded conditions. Surprisingly good and cool throughou the morning and early afternoon.

AndyH, is there a good reference for what the symbols in your pit cross-section mean? I'm away from my copy of "staying alive in avalanche terrain" book and can't remember the symbols offhand :)
