Hood Meadows was today's destination. They opened on Thursday. I'm only writing a TR of a resort day because a) it was the first day of this season for me, b) it was a great day and c) I'm a Gaper.
Arriving at Hood Meadows at 7:30am the temperature was a frigid 13 degrees w/ the upper mountain partially socked in. Got about 10th chair up Hood Express. The snow was extremely light. Even in the areas were the mountain was tracked-out the snow was still excellent. It was a great day! As a bonus it looks like *a lot* more snow is forecasted for Thanksgiving week.
