Though the conditions have been generally terrible throughout most of the alps this preseason, a freak storm arrived from Italy and dumped insane amounts of snow on the Southern slopes of the alps.
Thursday I went to Simplon and shat myself at what I came across. We got to the top of the Briethorn and found amazingly perfect freeride conditions.

Today, we were at the Col du Grand Saint Bernard where conditions weren't quite as good as Simplon, but still good. Beautiful weather.
I'm thinking it might be a while before we ski again.
