Nov(I think)20, 2005, Paradise

Amy, Myself, Ron and Darryl met for breakfast and decided it was a good idea to all ride in my Bronco. Let me tell ya, having Ron and Darryl in the back seat is worse than a family vacation with six two year olds. After we got the "kids" settled down we discussed our options and decided on a slope we call Eastgate. While assending the slope below Golden Gate it was observed that the crust seemed supportive and the corn was just about right. This must mean it had to be better at our objective right? Indeed as we topped the ridge the crust  was perfect and all seemed well. In short I got maybe three turns before our perfect slope turned to mush and once again we learned the lesson.....never pass up good snow to find better snow 8) So it goes, we did have a nice long lunch in the sun.  Here is a short video of the
