Nov 3-4, 2010, Eldorado, east ridge shred

Liz, Pat and I skied Eldorado on Thursday after doing the approach Wednesday. Perfect weather, really high temps, but a constant east wind that kept the top 2500' in amazing springy/fally condition. The bottom 1000' to where you have to cross back over the Rough Creek/Eldo Creek ridge were barely skiable boulder fields, and we put our skis on our backs for good from the ridge. Trail is in great condition, and so is the road, which (I think) is currently closed at the 21 mile gate.

Nice Drew! Way to catch the weather window. Gorgeous.
Way to get it, and quite a contrast to the weather this weekend!
Nice.
Thanks.
I don't even think of CRR this time of year.
I should change that about myself.
Thanks.
