Wow - what a difference a day makes! The snow was a lot lighter today. It was pretty amazing for November. There were several inches of light fresh snow on-top of the heavy base that we skied yesterday. We were going to buy lift tickets at ski bowl, but the ticket line was so long, we grabbed our skins instead and headed towards the Outback (which was closed to lift riders). We took a run on Bob Strand's downhill, then skied several laps on Tom, Dick, and Harry. The snow was wonderful. The avy hazard was higher though. The new lighter density snow was sliding easily on the heavier snow. With another 1 to 2 feet(!!) forecasted for Sunday, things could get pretty spicey.

Wow Jeff, that looks like great fun, I wish I was there! I've ridden that area only once, and it was a blast. It looks like hero snow from the photos. I especially like the first one. I went to Hoodoo on Saturday and found a lot of fresh lines with deep deep powder. Pretty amazing for late November. Let's hope it keeps up ;)
Thanks Matt. Yeah it was definitely hero snow. I'm with you about hoping it keeps up!
With my MHM pass, I get a discount on Hoodoo, so I may try visiting soon.
