Decided to join a few mid-week skiers on a Rainier trip. It's been over 6 month since my last Muir trip. Calm sunny day, but it wasn't too hot. In fact, the snow was still crusty above 8500'. We stopped at Anvil Rock, skied Paradise Glacier down to RonJ's secret garden, a great ~3000' run. Then we skinned back up to the top of the Nisqually chute. The slope was just ripe except some soft chicken heads to plow through.
