Once again a local experienced backcountry friend gave me a perfect corn morning. Peter, Vinny, and I parked a car below Rose Knob at 7400' and drove another one to 8400' near Mt Rose Summit. We skinned up Castle Rock and skied 1700' of perfect 1/4" corn at 10am, then went back up to Rose Knob and skied 2300' of 1/2-1" corn to the stashed car. Calicorucopia!!

I need to get down there one of these years. Some pics would help inspire me even more.
Anyway, congrats - sounds like a good spot to be right now!
