We skied a line on Shuksan today. It was good snow, with patches of powder snow. It was dangerous, there were Seracs. It was nice, it was sunny. Nothing much to say, about 12 inches of powder snow on top of some consolidated base. Some sun-affected surface snow.
Here is Mount Shuksan.

Just saw this on TGR. It's a must-read folks. Nice one PH.

Too bad the photos posted here on TAY are useless and the text mildly sarcastic. ;)
Edited to add, now that I've had a chance to look - cool photos out at that link (with just enough text to help tell the story). The ones here don't do them justice.

Nice photos, man with all this sunshine lately. I hardly recognize the place.
I can vouch for powdherb: he's young and dumb. The ability to laugh at oneself is crucial.
Another nice descent guys.
I am kind of young and a little dumb, can I come with you?

I'm old(er) and dumb. Not sure I could keep up on the climb (and not so sure on the descent but would lvoe to try!); otherwise would love to join in on something like that.
Nice work. I love that area. One of my most memorable days is skiing down the glacier below your route. Always wanted to get up in there to ski more. How time flies? I was so peeved I had to go to Las Vegas (ski-mountaineer hell) for a conference. I didn't even want to look at the pictures as my arm chair stokage may just entice me to do something stupid :).
WORTHY!....with the worthy.
