On Saturday Victor & I stomped the NW slopes of Cannon. Just found JWPlotz report from the same slope, we also found the remains of your skintrack here and there, thanks!
Stability was remarkably good with approx 12" fresh powder bonded onto a thin underlying crust with a 2nd thin crust 3" further down.
Skinned up to 2900' on the road, crossed the river on a log & skinned up through continual tree anchors, either young growth or burned out poles. Topped out at 8070 & booted up to the ridgetop. Great view into Stuart.
Stonking decent. 4000' of continual light powder, blue skies & spaced trees. We descended pretty much across the 1st photo from right to left along the obvious ridge aiming for the bridge. There was minor sluffing on steep sections but no slab formation, whumphing or propagation.
We stuck to the NW aspects only. Looked down the NW couloir, spotted JWPlotz & AleCapone's tracks.
2nd photo is the N side of Cannon, couloirs above Coney Lake.

Wow, the difference a day makes. Love the photo looking into Coney Lake basin.

Great photos!
We skied this yesterday. Thanks for the amazing skin track (and the snow free log crossing); we owe you a beer! Still several 1000 ft of fantastic powder on top and only very slight sloughing. The last 1000 ft was definitely heavier and we lost your down track for this section (we went skier's right instead of left). We skied over lots of logs and slide alder. Funny how you failed to mention that you crossed the river on the bridge on your way back :) On the way back we did find a better log for crossing the stream just a little ways up stream from the first crossing.
Great photos Victor, glad you had stellar conditions, great to see Jake out there smiling in his element.
Great photos.

Could not resist posting 2 pictures of a contented British man in his WA playground. Vive l'Angleterre (et la France)! :)

Very nice Jake & Victor! I’m kicking myself for getting scared off by your early departure. Did you make it back to town for your Saturday night?
hey, how'd I miss this?
Very nice victor and jake! Your pictures show how awesome the snow was. Way to score the blue sky.
you should have tomahawked the CNC jake.
