we planned a tour to McLure, but the weather was calm and sunny with the new snow ca 20-inches deep, went up to Mazama by 4th crossing and couldn't resist making 3 runs down the front, then we (me, Regine, Pooh, Bill, who came across edith basin) went up and did a run down 9-1-1 (S facing side of the back bowl) and the 2 runs (regine did 3) down the N facing side, then up and out and down the front of Mazama again: powder, powder, powder, powder, powder, powder, powder very nice ;D
We where out there aswell and it was great snow on the north slopes of Mazama bowl. I was with 3 others consisting my son Stewie , Rob and Chris.
Nice to meet you Scotsman! I think you must have been the one in the yellow pants (old man with a white goatee), with a Scottish accent (at least that's what I told my wife, Regine, that is sounded like. You talked to her about the turns on 9-1-1? and admired my white goatee? abc (Andy Carey)

Nice to meet you. We had a mutual admiration of our respective white goatees and how we where the old men out there.
I hiked back up and was about to drop over a line slightly skiers left of my first line when my son came up and purposely distracted me and with great glee, shouted he was stealing my line and dropped in. He made three turns and then fell for the first time that day. I told him that was Karma for stealing his fathers line. These young un's, when will they learn. eh?
I think he learned it from his Da, unless he picked it up from me.

Sorry for the thread drift acarey but I couldn't leave this unanswered.
No Telemack he did not learn line snaking from me. YOU taught him well and are by far the worst( or best , depending on your positon) line snake but Stewie is fast approaching your prowess in this regard. :D
