Walked and skied up to the usual and accustomed camp on Meany Crest, amazed at the snowcovered trail.  In numerous trips here since the mid-80s, I've never seen so much snow down so low.  Sunday morning we followed the crowds across the well-covered Fryingpan through the notch to the Whitman and then up the ladder of steps to Little T's SE shoulder at 10,300'.  Here we lounged in windless sunshine, marveled at the majesty of the scene and observed the antics of a large party of Mountaineers descending from their summit attempt.  The upper Whitman was still in good shape when we skied down about 1 pm.  Perhaps Craig will post a photo or two.

Back at camp, I was pleased to recognize and greet Charles as he skied by.  Thanks again, Charles, for this site.
