Spire gulch still goes with about a 200' walk from the car to the snow. Maybe another 100' of scree and mud at the top to reach the basin below Blue Lake col. The cornice is still intact (does that thing fall or does it just melt?) and we reached the col via the usual bootpack to climber's left. 2 inches of wet snow on a very well consolidated base all the way down, the best skiing I've had for a month. Some sun, some rain showers, a snow shower at the top.
