Hinman
Left the parking lot around 6:30am and immediately soaked through by a veritable car wash of dew. Beat a steady pace in squishy soggy trail runners to the EF Foss crossing where water was running over the log bridge in a few spots - really high water. Cursed the vine maple and downpours it created when the a-framed skis tapped it.
Finally hit Jade Lake and sun and swapped to dry socks and mildly moist boots. Dried out significantly skinning through Necklace valley. I skinned directly up to La Bohn Gap and then followed the ridge per the summer trail. Took socks off and poured the standing water out of my liners at the summit. What a fantastic position and vista.
New snow, breakable crust, verglas, mank and pockets of corn made for a variable and mixed descent - not worth a lap down to Hinman lake, a Vicks burger or two sounded better. Appreciated dry socks and shoes at Jade Lake and managed a little under 12 hours c2c. Good to have this one finally off the list.

Sounds like a bit of a sufferfest, but wow that's some beautiful country to have to yourself.
