We were able to drive to the Green Mountain Trailhead with just a tiny bit of snow at the end of the road. Dry trail to 4500 ft, then consistent snowpack as we rounded the corner to the east side of the mountain. The actual south face of Green had sufficient coverage and even skied quite decently with the sun softened snow! The skiing was nowhere near as heinous as expected.
