Gib Chute

Anthony and I had an easy skin to Muir, took a direct booter up Cadaver gap and then skinned to within 500 feet of the Gibraltar Rock ridge. Souths had corned up really nicely and we enjoyed great skiing in the chute back down to Muir and then nice turns all the way to Pan Pt. No photos in the line as it isn't a place to hang out. Skiing lines on Rainier without going to the summit is really quite enjoyable! Hard to be too encouraging of this one due to the overhead hazard although it felt more comfortable to me than climbing up other south side lines where you are exposed to rock fall for a longer duration as opposed to a few minutes of downhill.
