Jon, Logan, Anthony and I skied the Forbidden Tour over the nice weekend.
Conditions:
- Boston Basin Trail was an awful mess of alder and post holing. Consistent skinning at 4200 ft.
- Right hand variation of Sharkfin Col in good shape.
- Boston Glacier well filled in.
- Direct descent to Moraine Lake barely in, probably will be out soon.
- Eldo boulder field skiable to 4200 ft.
We took a direct climb from Moraine Lake to the divide with Eldorado Creek, which probably saved significant distance and gain. Definitely recommend this route if you're looking to save time on the exit!
