Forbidden Tour
Took a quick burn on the Forbidden yesterday. Full report here: Cascade Skimo Website is a work in progress. I have benefitted so much from Lowell, Sky and others websites I figure I should do the same.
anyways, the route is still in, but probably not for too much longer. Snow/ice on the lake is holding on and was passable. The drop down to the lake required a rappel. The Northerly Volken variation is melted out but the direct route from Moraine to Eldo is still in great shape.

A few years back I took a similar exit with Eazy-Eric much earlier in the season. We scrambled about 15' of the same slabs in ski boots which was kind of sketchy but worked out.
Stoked you got good snow on the glacier!
