Skied both the Kendall Trees and the Big Trees area yesterday. Big Trees were okay but not great skiing. However, Kendall Trees was excellent with nice light powder on the north/northwest shaded slopes. Snow was best high up just below the ridge.
Funny what difference a day makes, but there's nothing like powder in Kendall anymore. All aspects have a melt freeze crust. Still, it was a nice day to get out and see some views.
