Between hip issues and the atmospheric rivers, I found myself needing to save my streak.  I also wanted to get December turns before an anniversary trip to Hawaii.  So I booked a room at Whittaker Bunkhouse, and drove up in steady rain.  I was the first vehicle in the lot.

After booting a few hundred feet I realized that, unlike October, there was plenty to skin on.  I made it up near golden Gate before the weather felt lethal, with rain blowing sideways and increasing whiteout.  I got about 30 sweet springlike turns, the rest was hop and hope dodging grass and a rock or 2.

I checked in to my room for an afternoon nap, and had the whole bunkhouse to my self for a much better night's sleep than my 0-D-T rise time.

170 months of TAY.

That's dedication!
