Dec 17, 2006. Arrowhead, Stevens Pass

Given my time was a little limited, John and I did a quick tour up Arrowhead.  There was nobody around except a couple xc-skiing on the logging road.  We weren't pushing for the summit, but given the nice stable powder, sunshine, no wind, we ended up going all the way.  On the upper steep slope, the recent snow has settled significantly w/o much wind effects, though there were some sign of layering to watch out.

The view from the top was gorgeous.  Jim Hill looked very inviting (at least the upper slopes).  Skiing was so good, we wished we had more time for another.  Great day.
