Egged on by https://turns-all-year.com/trip-reports/guye-peak-east-couloir-1-5-2021, time to contribute back to the forum; I’ve gotten so much value out of others’ reports here.
Sadly, not much fun this morning. Was thinking of Cave Ridge or above, but it was wet & messy with no evidence of cooling down with altitude. In the rare glimpses of Guye Peak, no snow adhesion on any trees even right up to the top. Snow quality was ... unpleasant. Snow bombing made for a highly variable surface anywhere near trees, and out in the open things were slow and heavy.
